I have been fortunate to have supportive influential people in my life who directed my path towards becoming a Certified Nurse Midwife. I started my nursing career with mothers during the postpartum period. From there I worked with high-risk pregnant mothers and continued towards becoming a labor and delivery nurse. My nursing career was very rewarding. I soon realized I was missing something. I have found that missing piece in midwifery care.
I attended Frontier Nursing University in Kentucky and graduated with a Masters of Science Nursing-Certified Nurse Midwife. I am Board Certified through the American Midwifery Certification Board. I am licensed in Nebraska as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner-Certified Nurse Midwife (APRN-CNM). I joined Lincoln OBGYN P.C. in 2017.
My goal is to provide evidenced based care starting during teenage years continuing throughout a woman’s life. I provide prenatal care, GYN care, contraceptive counseling, preconception counseling, STD screening, PAP smears, and other woman related care. I am married and a mother of three. I understand how important it is to take care of yourself and I look forward to helping my community of women to do the same.
